So I have to admit, I was cautiously optimistic about this one. The trailer promised a stripped down, back to basics approach to the Alien franchise, with a fresh new cast and a talented horror director at the helm. But does it live up to the promise?

In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only The Message. Well, it was only a matter of time before they came for Warhammer. Games Workshop's recent decision to alter the lore of their game universe has opened the floodgates, and there will be demands for more. Believe that.

Well, talk about disappointment. I'd hoped Alex Garland's new thriller would have given us a gripping story filled with interesting characters, but instead what we got was a bland, empty collection of scenes with no strong story to tie them together. What a wasted opportunity.

Now that Ahsoka is finally over and the dust has settled on Dave Filoni's magnum opus, its time to deliver my final verdict on this show. Does it save Star Wars, or is it yet another lame flop from Disney Lucasfilm?

I'd be lying if I said I was a big fan of the Saw franchise, but a random offer to watch Saw X gave me a different perspective.

The Creator, written and directed by Gareth Edwards, is a highly ambitious new science fiction movie that manages to do a lot on its $80 Million budget, but suffers from a slightly muddled script that isn't quite able to juggle its many themes and characters.

Sound of Freedom, starring Jim Caviezel, is the low budget movie that somehow managed to knock Indiana Jones off the top spot. Its also a harrowing and compelling true story about a man's mission to combat child trafficking, and its excellent.

So Across The Spider-Verse turned out to be a pretty good movie. In fact, it handled the whole multiverse thing better than Marvel ever did, and gave us a bunch of fun and likeable characters to root for along the way.

RRR, an Indian action movie directed by S. S. Rajamouli, was the kind of movie I didn't expect great things from. This is a review I've wanted to do for a while. Prometheus was a total disaster of a movie that effectively killed any chance of the Alien franchise returning to form, and it's time to tear it apart.

So I was excited to hear that talks between Sony and Marvel have broken down, and as a result there will be no more Spider-Man movies in the MCU. This can only be good news, right?
