Destiny 2 is a game that has been almost universally praised by professional video game publications, yet has received very middling fanfare from actual gamers. Made by the creators of Halo, Bungie, this sequel is a perfect example of poor storytelling, forgettable places and characters, poor exposition, and flash over substance. Some more thoughts... -Collectible relics are not explained and don't seem to really give you an obvious purpose other than giving you more Psygate charges. This is not explained to you and you have to learn it as you go. They are not equippable and there's no explanation as to why they are cool or important to the lore. - Multiplayer disconnection is frequent, from what I hear. Though I mostly stuck to singleplayer. - AI pathing is kind of retarded, but functions well enough to keep you on your toes most of the time. - Melee combat is very simple. Somewhat satisfying, but very repetitious. - Hacking turrets, which you can see at 11:40, sucks. It's pointless. You can destroy any turret this way and turrents are VERY DEADLY to you. - UI is ripped straight outta' 2002. - Enemies giblets are very well done. The xenos break apart wonderfully well. - Enemy eyes glow in the dark, which is a really cool touch. - Some psy abilities are pointless. Some, like lightning, half the times just simply isn't fatal. It misses enemies or hits all of them...it's a gamble regardless of what you are aiming at. Flesh is fallible, but ritual honors the Machine Spirit.

People seem to be under the impression that a character with bare hands and nothing to lose could never possibly harm you. They seem to think that there's no possible way this fresh spawn could find a gun and kill you in ten minutes. They seem to think that they aren't a threat until they get to a certain level of gear in a game where one swing of an axe or one bullet can kill you... I spend an immense time at the coast. Microtransactions, like DLC, are not inherently evil. While Killing Floor 2's introduction of this system is not perfect, it isn't horrible either. While many in the community are quite upset, I've taken a very "wait and see" approach to how things play out, learning to acknowledge the good that we have...and hoping that the less than stellar options are modified or mitigated.

Fallout 4 is now an excellent example of how people will be happy to lose features, mechanics, and depth because they want to do as little thinking and choosing as possible. And oooh, graphics. While not a bad open world shooter, Fallout 4 is an RPG that's on par with Borderlands 2 and Farcry 4. It's all about the shooting, and much much less about the actual RPG. A short talk on how the more I hear about Battlefront and how little content it seems to have for a multiplayer only game, the less I want to buy it. I won't say this game won't be good now or still can't be great, but so far I'm more disappointed with the things I hear than am excited.

We all like it when our character in the game has a voice. I like it, too. But there are merits to having your character be silent and speak little or never at all. Even gruff and neutral character like Geralt of Rivia give the player freedom, choice, and benefits that they may not think about. EDIT: I completely forgot that the Witcher is based on the character from the books, which is why he's the neutral and static way that he is in the game. It was such a perfect example of the "blank slate" protagonist that I thought it was by design since it made such an excellent example of a silent protagonist's positives compared to how Ciri would have played as. Level scaling can work excellently when done correctly, though in the case of The Witcher 3, the only way it will help the game would be to scale up all the enemies and quests up if they are pathetically helpless or easy compared to you. Keep the high leveled quests and baddies, though!

Just playing some DayZ, chilling in Svetlo. Then somebody pulls the craziest hack (I think) and hilarity ensues. I think this is a hack and not a glitch. I've heard about a hack just like this one, but I can't be sure.
