Makendi, my guide for the day mentioned that they do voodoo in the town, so of course I was interested and wanted to check it out. When I asked him in the beginning of the video how much it would cost to do it he said around 200-300 Dominican Pesos which is roughly $4. Later on Makendi turned on me. He was a part of it all. I would of happily paid them $100+ or an equally fair amount for the ceremony. Instead they tried to finesse me and took my kindness for weakness. Luckily they took me back to the hotel to extort me for more money and from there i was safer to bargain, with the help of the presence of the hotel staff. In the end I paid them $70. Towards the end of my stay I decided to stay in a floating lodge about a 25 minute speedboat ride away from Iquitos. In total it cost me $203 with breakfast included. Whilst snooping around the backstreets of Belén in Iquitos, I noticed a pair of staring eyes locked in on me. That's when I met Armando, who would soon become my first friend in Iquitos. Vamos!

After Spending a week in Cusco, I couldn't cope with the altitude sickness anymore so I parted ways with Stephan and I took a flight back to Lima. From there I took another flight the next day to Iquitos, Peru's Biggest City on the Amazon and the biggest city in the world not reachable by land. Day Four: After leaving the town of San Francisco, We hit Peru's Deadliest Road once again, through the biggest Coca Fields in Peru...avoiding falling boulders, landslides, guerrillas and narcos...also a family brothel. Enjoy

Day Three: Would you drive these deadly roads of Peru? After a night in Ayacucho Stephan and I took the road north. After hours of avoiding getting crushed by landslides or disappearing off the sides of the crumbling roads, we made it to the Guerrilla controlled region of Peru.

Day Two: After sleeping at the worlds loudest Motel, Stephan and I carried on with our journey through the forgotten valleys of Peru. Day One: After renting a car in Lima, Stephan and I decided to go on a journey from Lima to Cusco which should of taken 20 Hours. That didn't go as planned. This is the Peru they don't show.

After Barranquilla I made my way to Santa Marta where I met Stephan. Together we decided to go on a little journey to Palomino, a neighbouring town about a 3 hours bus drive away. There we decided to rent and learn how to ride some bikes for the first time and try go find some coca in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Do you think we will be able to find and try some coca? About a half hours drive east of Puerto Escondido, I started my search for the mysterious Oaxacan crocodiles. Sightings and attacks this year have increased due to the decline in human activity in the surrounding areas. Who's lucky day will it be? Mine or Theirs? Órale!

One evening while sitting on the beach, I noticed this guy swimming around the rocks infront of me collecting oysters, so I promised them I would come back the next day to try some. After getting away from the scammers at the Pyramids, I hopped into a fishy Tuk-Tuk ride. Something didn't smell quiet right and it wasn't the backstreets of Giza. Yalla!

Towards the end of my visit at the Giza Pyramids I had to Ride a horse, As I've been wanting to do so for a long time. The man accepted to take me out to see all the pyramids for just $4. He turned out to be the most honest and straight forward guy working at the whole place and didn't try to scam me. In the end, I got to ride a horse and he got to take the day off and spend it with his family. 90 Percent of the time I spent at the Pyramids was not spent enjoying the scenery, however It was spent chasing off the scammers and sales people. It is a shame that the Egyptian government doesn't do something about it. Apparently there are signs with set prices for camel rides (50 Egyptian Pounds for 30 minutes). It leaves a bitter taste in the mouthes of tourists and really lowers the quality of the experience. An Average hard working person in Egypt earns approximately 30-40 Egyptian Pounds for a full days work. The 2 guys wanted about 700 Egyptian pounds for "an hour camel ride" which always ends up being about 30minutes. Thats a months salary in Egypt. Unfortunately it is not only the Giza Necropolis that is like this. Now Keep in mind it is not that I had a problem with paying 40 dollars for an hours camel ride, it is that their attitudes stank and their goal was to trick you and connive you. Eventually I agreed to a rushed 5 minute ride for 150 egyptian pounds.

After a hard but strange workout in an overcrowded gym, I had to get something to eat. While doing so I was approached by some nice locals that sat down with me and we started talking. This was the beginning to a very interesting night.

As soon as I had got out the taxi I was approached by a friendly man offering to show me the way to the market. Which makes me think, maybe the taxi driver was in on it and had somehow texted this guy to let him know I was coming and to meet me on my way there. Maybe that's just a speculation, but look how fast he found me. Avoid this man whilst you are in the area and avoid falling for similar scams! After a 14 hour flight from Johannesburg to Dubai then Cairo, I was in much need of some Traditional Egyptian breakfast. Luckily I stumbled upon this street market in downtown Cairo. Enjoy!

Pompeii was an ancient city located in what is now the commune of Pompei near Naples in the Campania region of Italy. Pompeii, along with Herculaneum and many villas in the surrounding area (e.g. at Boscoreale, Stabiae), was buried under 4 to 6 m (13 to 20 ft) of volcanic ash and pumice in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79. Largely preserved under the ash, the excavated city offered a unique snapshot of Roman life, frozen at the moment it was buried, and an extraordinarily detailed insight into the everyday life of its inhabitants, although much of the evidence was lost in the early excavations. It was a wealthy town, enjoying many fine public buildings and luxurious private houses with lavish decorations, furnishings and works of art which were the main attractions for the early excavators. Organic remains, including wooden objects and human bodies, were entombed in the ash and decayed leaving voids which archaeologists found could be used as moulds to make plaster casts of unique and often gruesome figures in their final moments of life. The numerous graffiti carved on the walls and inside rooms provide a wealth of examples of the largely lost Vulgar Latin spoken colloquially at the time, contrasting with the formal language of the classical writers. Pompeii is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Italy, with approximately 2.5 million visitors annually.

Mount Vesuvius is a somma-stratovolcano located on the Gulf of Naples in Campania, Italy, about 9 km (5.6 mi) east of Naples and a short distance from the shore. It is one of several volcanoes which form the Campanian volcanic arc. Vesuvius consists of a large cone partially encircled by the steep rim of a summit caldera caused by the collapse of an earlier and originally much higher structure. The eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79 destroyed the Roman cities of Pompeii, Herculaneum, Oplontis and Stabiae, as well as several other settlements. The eruption ejected a cloud of stones, ashes and volcanic gases to a height of 33 km (21 mi), erupting molten rock and pulverized pumice at the rate of 6×105 cubic metres (7.8×105 cu yd) per second, ultimately releasing 100,000 times the thermal energy released by the Hiroshima-Nagasaki bombings. More than 1,000 people died in the eruption, but exact numbers are unknown. The only surviving eyewitness account of the event consists of two letters by Pliny the Younger to the historian Tacitus. Vesuvius has erupted many times since and is the only volcano on the European mainland to have erupted within the last hundred years. Today, it is regarded as one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world because of the population of 3,000,000 people living near enough to be affected, with 600,000 in the danger zone, making it the most densely populated volcanic region in the world, as well as its tendency towards violent, explosive eruptions of the Plinian type. This is a video I put together of all the random clips from a trip my Father, Brother and I did across Southern Africa in 2012. We left our home at the time, Jeffreys Bay, South Africa and made our way up to Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and all the way to Mozambique then back home. Bare in mind this is only about 10 percent of what we saw as it is mainly composed of random footage and us fooling around. Nevertheless we still got a lot of good memories that we will never forget on film. None of us thought that one day I would make a video of it. This was the greatest trip of my life.

From Desenzano, Nadia and I took the 3 Euro Ferry to the very Romantic Town of Sirmione on Garda Lake in Northern Italy, From there we saw the "Castello Scaligero". For the few hours I had in Bologna to spend, I thought I'd make a video of the "Due Torri" the two leaning Towers of Bologna built between the 12th and 13th century. Before ascending the treacherous climb up the 498 stairs to see the view of the city, you have to buy a 5 Euro ticket from the Tourist Office which is located in the "Piazza Maggiore", a 5 minute walk from the tower.

I went to have a $7 Hanoi Haircut...except it was actually in the Eastern part of Berlin, Germany, at the all famous Dong Xuan Centre. The place is like a little Vietnam, with a whole bunch of halls selling all different kinds of stuff...Except no cameras are allowed and there is a super hostile atmosphere in there especially for a big blondy like myself walking around with a GoPro in his hand. however I pushed through and got some footage.
