Description

9V alkaline batteries have a problem. When asked to deliver high currents, they underperform badly and lower their voltage significantly. More than most other alkaline batteries. Why? In this video, I take a closer look at their issue and calculate the internal resistance of four different batteries using one or two multimeters. I also test the batteries' performance in a more practical way with an amazing permanent electromagnet and up to 15 kg weights. Get ready for some surprises!
