Description

Time to break a record in my laser rainbow! I have some strong, infrared lasers to test. One of them got banned on eBay after I purchased it. How strong is it? I will also attempt to ignite steel wool with an infrared laser pointer. Igniting metal is not easy but the fire tetrahedron gives some great clues on how to make it work well. Finally, I'll show how to calculate the number of photons any laser emits per second. Some very small and very large numbers will be involved, but the Windows Calculator is surprisingly good at it!
